So, this is a new thing for us and hopefully people will actually be able to keep in contact with our little family a little better.
Life is pretty much the same ol’ stuff, just a different day….I was given the opportunity to manage an Irish Pub that I’ve been working at since the day we opened 2 1/2 years ago, where I started as a waitress/hostess just to help pay my student loans; I guess it pays to be persistant. Along with managing the restaurant, I cook and prepare all of our handmade desserts and I manage to squeeze in wedding and birthday cakes. If Andon doesn’t grow up to be a Chef, I’m not sure what he’s going to do. He loves to sit in his highchair and watch me in the kitchen, it’s really cute.
As for Nate, he’s just trying to stay busy with construction, but we all know how the economy is…….need I say more. He has an interview with a bigger company on Wednesday….I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
Andon is already 9 months old and is as cute as can be. He’s doing his version of a crawl where he starts on his knees, then slides to his belly and drags himself across the floor to whatever he is after. After many days of persistance from Grammy Karen, he finally says “Momma”…it just melts my heart. He’s been saying “Da-da” for weeks. He is probably the happiest baby I’ve ever seen, it’s not often that he doesn’t have a huge smile on his face.
We are just enjoying every second we have and are really excited for the next few months when He learns to walk and say even more.
